WEEK 15

Oh! My Butter Tibetan Bread isn't the same as the one in Sangla! Never mind, I'll go for omelet! (.^_^.) We started the tour by paying money. Just when we were gonna go, Benedict and Wan Hui decided to join us! Yay! (^.^) We learned alot and laughed alot. Saw the mega giant footprint of Saint Padnasambhava! Dalai Lama was here just for 7 days and a house was build for him! Wow! (>.<) We saw the local women mixing white powder with water to become white paint. Then, they used scoops to splash the paint onto the walls. We left for Tabo and stayed at the hotel near the bus sand. We went to the Monastery, but it was a bit too late, so we'll come again tomorrow for the special prayer that happends only thrice a year! Bye!

Hullo! We ate a very full breakfast at the German Bakery. It was plain crossaint, chocolate crossaint and honeynut cake. It wouldn't been nicer but it wasn't very fresh. After breakfast, we went to the Monastery for the special prayer. It starts from 5pm to 4pm! Wow! That's why it's special! (^.^) We were showed around the temples, then we decided to go to the caves. We went the wrong way, and had to climb up a very dangerous and VERY steep trail! Everywhere you step, there will be loose rocks and is not stable at all! (>O<) Ahhh!! And when we found that it was the wrong way, going down was HORROR! (>O<) I had to slide down on the hot rocks and sand! Wahhhh! So scary you know! Then, we went to the right caves, but it wasn't what we thought it would be. We came down and ate a delicious lunch at our hotel, cooked by Sonu, the manager! He was 20+ years old! So young! We waited for the bus for a long time. When it came, we boarded the bus and found that there were at least 5-6 seats empty! LUcky us! (^.^) Benedict and Wan Hui was on the bus! But they were dropping here and will be here for 2-3 days. Aiya! Just missed us! (>O<) Anyway the bus ride was (>O<)!!! Gonna die! The bus was so bumpy, I'm sure we had jumped out of our seats at least 1 foot high. Ahh! We were sitting at back seats, so it was more bumpy! (>_<) We listened to the MP3 on the bus, so it was more bearable. When we reached Kaza, we went up and up and looked round and round, and finally found the Ecosphere office. They had 2 small and cute puppies called Tashi and Nima. Both are male, and sooooooo CUTE!!! 1 is white and 1 is black! They were so small that you could lift them up with 1 hand! (^o^) Ai, I wanna adopt them, but I can't... Anyway, we talked to uncle Sunil, whom Tashi and Nima likes alot. We talked and talked and found out that there were 3 NUS students from Singapore are here!!! We checked into our hotel nearby, look posh posh wan leh... (^.^) Ate a fantastic dinner and zzz....

Yo! I had a very very very very nice breakfast today! Chocolate toast bread! So delicious! After breakfast, mum went back to the hotel while dad and me went to the Eco-office. (Ecosphere office) We finally met aunty Ishita! Dad talked to her while I played with Tashi and Nima, the 2 dogs, and read a few books at the small library I found. We met the 3 Singaporean students and talked again. Then, we went back to the hotel and I read the book I borrowed. It's called Dracular. Nice but a bit scary. Anyway, today is a fun day, and there is still a long way to go. Person A: 'Huh? Long way to go? For what?' Robyn: 'Long way to go? I dunno, don't ask me! I just wanna ride on a Yak!' Haha! Bye! (^.^)

4 more months to my Bday! We went to a German Bakery and had Brownie cake, chocolate ball and chocolate bracket. All fresh! So nice! (^.^) Then, we went to the internet cafe and I checked my Facebook. We went to the Eco-office and talk... After that, we went back to the hotel. FORTUNE TELLER ROBYN says: 'We will meet Benedict and Wan Hui tomorrow! I'm 100% sure!'

Gah! We really met Benedict and Wan Hui in the morning! OMG! Is this real? Fortune Teller Robyn is amazing! We talked for a few mins, then decided to meet up for lunch at our hotel restaurant. We ate our breakfast then went to the Eco-office to talk to aunty Ishita. Then, we went back to the hotel and did some work. At lunch time, we ordered our food and after that, a big group of tourists came and sat behind us. So, we had to wait for very long. Meanwhile, we talked about tomorrow's plans. After a delicious lunch, we all went to the Eco-office. When Benedict and Wan Hui saw Tashi and Nima, they fell and love with them too. We talked about some things and decided to go to the Key Monastery tomorrow. But the next day, they will be going clockwise in one direction and we will be going the opposite direction. Sigh.

We took a taxi to the Key Monastery with Wan Hui and Benedict. We met a monk who has lived in the Monastery since he was 8 tears old! (^o^) Now he's 30! He says Oskay, which is alot of Oks. Haha! He brought us around the Monastery and we drank medical tea, which is not as bad as it sounds. After the guide around the Monastery, we saw the greenhouse-in-construction. We wanted to help, but uncle Sunil said that they already had too many hands, so we went back to Kaza. Sigh. Benedict and Wan Hui will be leaving tomorrow! (>O<)

Today, we were going to walk across to the other side of the Spiti river, but decided not to because mum had strained a muscle in her knee. Today is a Sunday, so all the shops are closed except for the internet cafe, hotels, restaurants and vegetable stalls. It's Sunday, so Zzzz....
